International Medical Trainee Observership

Program Details
For international medical trainees interested in educational opportunities in otolaryngology, the Mass Eye and Ear International Observership Rotation offers exposure to the full range of subspecialties within otolaryngology.
The rotation will provide opportunities for observation in the clinic, as well as operating room settings. The program will provide for an apprenticeship model with direct 1:1 shadowing and interaction with faculty members.
- Learn about comprehensive head and neck history and physical exam
- Interpret basic hearing testing and neck computed tomography scans
- Learn in diverse settings, including the emergency department, clinic and operating room
- Advance topics of otolaryngology (based on trainee interest)

- Brief letter stating approval by home medical school for international rotation
- If approved for rotation, submit application fee
