Education Opportunities
The Department of Radiology at Mass Eye and Ear specializes in head and neck imaging under the leadership of Mary Beth Cunnane, MD, encompassing all aspects of diagnostic radiology and image-guided interventional procedures pertaining to the care of ophthalmology, otology, laryngology, sinus, facial plastics, thyroid and parathyroid, skull base, and head and neck cancer patients. Medical students, residents and fellows receive unparalleled training in all modalities of head and neck imaging and intervention.
Medical Student Education
Harvard Medical School students have the opportunity to spend elective time at Mass Eye and Ear Radiology, participating in case read-out, attending didactic lectures and case-based discussions, and observing procedures.
Radiology Resident and Neuroradiology Fellow Education
Radiology residents and Neuroradiology fellows from the Harvard Radiology training programs (Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center) spend dedicated time on Head and Neck Radiology rotations in our department. There is also a long tradition of radiology residents and fellows from other programs nationally and internationally visiting our department for observerships and research collaboration.
Head and Neck Radiology Fellowship
Mass Eye and Ear Radiology offers a one-year clinical fellowship, directed by Amy Juliano, MD.
