Massachusetts Eye and Ear is a specialty hospital that is a member of Mass General Brigham, with a network of more than 20 patient care sites throughout Greater Boston and Providence, including its main campus in Boston. Internationally acclaimed since our founding in 1824, Mass Eye and Ear employs full-time, board-certified physicians offering high quality and affordable care in ophthalmology and otolaryngology that ranges from the routine to the very complex. A teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School, Mass Eye and Ear trains future leaders in ophthalmology and otolaryngology through residency as well as clinical and research fellowship programs. Also a center of research, Mass Eye and Ear merged with Schepens Eye Research Institute in 2011, creating the largest community of vision and hearing researchers anywhere in the world.
