Voice and Speech Research
Our research is centered around the laryngeal and central nervous mechanisms of voice and speech control in healthy individuals and patients with laryngeal and neurological disorders.
Our research goals range from optimization of voice and speech therapy and refinement of surgical interventions to econometric modeling of decision-making in clinical preference assessment to understanding of molecular mechanisms of subglottic stenosis and the central pathophysiology of neurological voice and speech disorders.
Our investigators are at the forefront of voice-related clinical and basic research, driving breakthroughs, innovations and new techniques related to the medical management of voice and speech disorders.
